Baja Peninsula
Cabo San Lucas, La Paz
Day 1: After arriving in this city on the tip of the Baja Peninsula, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing dinner and perhaps some time at the pool. Day 2: Start your day early with a short boat ride to Honeymoon Beach and Arch, where you can snorkel or just enjoy the small but lovely beach. Afterwards, drive your rental car a few hours north to un-touristy La Paz, where you will stay for the rest of your trip. If you haven’t done so already, book your excursions for the next two days. Day 3: Today you can sleep in a bit longer, but make time for a local tour to the sea lion colony where you can swim with these delightful creatures. Try a local restaurant for dinner and then get to sleep so you can arise early the next morning. Day 4: It will still be dark when you leave the hotel and you will probably need to have breakfast on the boat, but it will all be worth it when you hook into a tuna or red snapper on your deep sea fishing trip. When you return with your catch, ask the hotel to cook it up for you and enjoy the taste of fresh fish that you caught yourself. Day 5: Drive your rental car back to the airport in Cabo for your return flight and say adios to this one of a kind place. |
